Well I've had my first week off from work and tomorrow is officially my last day with Royal Mail. I was owed some holiday so left on 31st January.
Now its time to get my backside into gear and start going about looking for a new way of making a living.
One of the main reasons I left Royal Mail was because of the amount of knee pain that was making some days unbearable. My last visit to Solihull hospital late in January resulted in my doctor saying I now needed a knee replacement. This after 3 arthroscopes. The left knee has deteriorated so much that I would now need a new one.
Its funny that the doctor said "you need to change your job". After explaining that I was due to leave he agreed to see me again in six months rather than put me on the list right away.
Well for the next six months I will be concentrating on my photography training. I am currently on a course with the Photography Institute as well as another course with Proud Photography that is a very cheap way to learn the basics of snapping.
If anyone is interested click on the link below. It may be your thing as well.
In May I start the main course with Barrett and Coe down in Norwich that hopefully will lead to a Franchise opportunity. The two hors d"oeuvres courses I am now digesting will give me an appetite for the main course down in Norwich with Barrett & Coe.
Well today I have been working on studio lighting set ups. Broad and short lighting together with Rembrandt and butterfly lighting is my project for the next few days.
In the meantime I have posted some more pictures of my grand children with my mom and dad and daughter Vicki.
